Okay, I think that there are two things that this update more or less confirmed. Spoilers under Keep Reading.
One: Warframes used to be fully sapient. They weren't the homunculi we're left with nowadays, not biosuits but full partners for the Tenno. Especially with how Ordis refers to "Umbra" as someone who might be wandering around your Orbiter. And, perhaps, the ones we build/rebuild nowadays are mere shadows of what they were.
Two: Warframes are breedable. It's now canon.
I do wish we got more from Jade herself, it felt a bit too "dying pregnant waif".
