In the novel version of Jade Kingdoms, the Glass Tower of Quieting served as a prison. While it never looked like its classic counterparts, it was designed to suppress the mind and make the body wander through fields of time endlessly. In the comic, Suren and her father's epic fight ended here.
The great seals of the tower could neither hold Suren in her Raging Dark form, nor Belmont in his Burning Light. Both were too powerful, too twisted as their bodies reverted in their full Asura forms, yet somehow still spared the kingdom from total destruction.
