So, since this fourth book is basically confirming my suspiscions that the Inkworld and the world from the Reckless books are one and the same and also features an ""unbreakable"" curse, I keep wanting to hand the problem off to Jacob Reckless

Like, oh, this magic cannot be destroyed? This fate cannot be changed? There is no way out o this situation? Nah. I bet Jacob Reckless can mansplain manipulate manwhore his way out.

Now don't get me wrong, he would ABSOLUTLY create a different, much worse problem in the process, but the people in the book would be out of it by the end. I truly believe this. I trust him.
