One of Jesus' most repeated warnings was surprisingly simple: “Do not be deceived.”
Why would Christ emphasize this so often? Because deception is rarely obvious. It does not always appear evil or rebellious. Sometimes it appears moral, sincere, compassionate, and deeply religious.
Throughout history, many beliefs have been accepted because they were popular, traditional, or widely taught. Yet Scripture repeatedly encourages believers to test teachings against God's Word rather than accepting them blindly.
The real question isn't whether something feels right.
The real question is whether it aligns with Scripture.
Are we following Christ — or simply following tradition?
