kirin knew how to fix things.
he was just as good at breaking them just as he was in putting them back together again, but that mostly applied to his speeder, and not many other things. his relationships with other sentient creatures, for example, were particularly hard to mend, and if he was taught anything, it was that blasters could solve most conflicts except those of the heart.
over the years, of course, he’s come to realise that shooting and stabbing wasn’t always the right way to win anything, but it didn’t hurt to be prepared.
taking his own blaster apart only seemed like a good idea at the time that the paranoia set in. now, he was almost afraid it’ll explode. for good measure, he hit it with a wrench – and poked it with a screwdriver.
