“My Goddess, my love, my life, my everything...I have good news and I have bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?”

“Jackson.”

The mage was practically glowing with happiness as she stood at the doorway of the mansion that she lived in with her sister figures. She hadn’t expected to see him since she knew he had an education to attend. She was pretty sure he had called it a college. But either way, here he stood. And he was holding the little knitted fox in his hands. Dear lord it made her heart thump with happiness.

“Please do come in. Come in.”

She pulled him in and helped him with his light jacket. But made sure he never dropped the fox. Once his jacket was taken care of, she guided him to the living room only to have Tiffany come bustling down the hallway from the kitchen.

“Oh my goodness! He’s here! Good thing I made a second cake just in case of such an occasion! Here. Sit sit. I’ll make tea and cut the cake. Oh gosh! Happy birthday, Jackson! Now you two get cozy and I’ll be right back!”

The ball of energy that she was, Tiffany scurried back to the kitchen to take care of the cake and tea while the mage smiled sheepishly in apology and sat on the couch in the living room with him. Taking his free hand, she then leaned over and gave him a caste but loving kiss that she allowed to linger for only a moment.

“Happy birthday, Jackson.”

“Baby!!”

The males lips pulled into a wide smile as he stepped into the threshold of her and her sister’s humble abode. Once his jacket was taken, he followed his Goddess into the living area, but before a syllable could part his lips, Tiffany had entered, a chuckle parts his lips instead. 

Tiffany’s voice held so much excitement. Jackson felt a sense of pride swelling within in him; he was glad Ember’s sisters accepted him, and their relationship.

“Thanks” 

He spoke, eyes following the energetic female as she disappeared into the kitchen. Their fingers were laced, and he swiftly placed the fox in his pocket just as he felt soft lips press against his. No, he wasn’t ready yet, but the sensation was gone before he could even react. 

She spoke, but he’ll respond later. Right now he needed- No, he craved to feel that sensation once again. He peers into her eyes as his hand rises to tuck a few strands of hair behind her ear, only to cup her plush cheek afterwards. The pad of his thumb rubs small circles along the soft skin. It’s now or never, be a man, Jackson! He leans in ever so slowly, angling his head a second before their lips meet.

He kissed her and the world around them fell apart; it was slow and soft, comforting in ways words can never be. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb still caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled. Then he pulls away, their foreheads resting against each other, his lips pulling into a wide grin.

The innocent statement brings forth a wicked grin, quickly twisting along his face once she spoke. Why? Because Jackson, being the childish man that he is, feels as if this was an open opportunity to tease his virtuous girlfriend. Thus he begins peppers feather-like kisses down the column of her neck, his arms coiling around her dainty waist as he attempts to pull her closer ( if it was even possible ) .

45. I missed you 

Jackson had spent a fews weeks in China week his parents, whom he missed dearly but everyone knew that his sole reason for moving to Korea was for educational purposes. Though, there were days his homesickness consumed him, a simple phone call from his mother and father always brought a joyous glint to his eyes. 

He wanted to bring Ember- God, she was the first person he thought of when he decided to visit his parents. However, he felt that it wasn’t the time yet. He wanted to tell his parents about her first, although they have a brief understanding of her character from their past phone conversations. Brief doesn’t cut it for Jackson though; if Ember was the one then he parents needed to know.  

His mother was astonished to see him step off his flight by himself, of course she took the moment to publicly scolded him, but instead of arguing back to his mother; Jackson just merely pulled her into a tight embrace. Were there tears? Yes, only real men cry in their mothers arms. She wiped Jackson’s tears away before his Father tugs him into hug, muttering how sensitive his wife and son were, yet his eyes were also glazed with tears.

“But you’re crying too, old man.”

“I know, now let’s get out of here. You’re mother made a full spread for you and I know that shitty airline food can’t satisfy a Wang.” A boisterous laughter parts the elder’s lips and the family finally leaves the airport with wide grins plastered along each of their faces. 

Two weeks fly by in no time and Jackson finds himself back on the plane and in direct route back to Seoul, South Korea. He had spent most of his time with his parents, but he visited a few of his old friends and helped his father at Wang Institutions. Jackson would message Ember every morning before he stared his day and an hour later he’d receive a message from his goddess, which always brightened his mood and his mother liked to call him out on it. 

Ember even called a view times too, and apparently she had a good conversation with his mom. They had promptly asked him to leave the room before speaking for a littler over an hour. It warms his heart to see his mother and future mother of his own children get along. 

Jackson had landed in Seoul in midday and to his surprise Ember stood outside the terminal with a medium sized sign with ‘Prince Charming’ written across it in cursive. She drops the sign once Jackson steps out of the doors. Jackson had a second to drop his bags in order to catch a flying Ember in his arms, her legs and arms locking behind his waist and neck. 

“I have missed you dearly, my prince.” 

A chuckle parts Jackson’s lips as he uses one arm to hold her weight while using the other to pick up his fallen bags. “I missed you too, my goddess.” It was as if the couple had been apart for years.

Aron had gone to the local convenience store to get puppy pads and other pet necessities. He and Baekho had hired some pet sitters to watch their animals while they went on a short trip out of Seoul. As much as he knew his dog and cats were potty trained, he feared they would make some messes while he was gone.

He was cutting through the aisle where feminine hygiene and related products were located when he saw a man of roughly the same height looking lost in the section of the aisle devoted to period products. It seemed he did not know what to get for whoever he was shopping for.

Aron couldn’t help but comment on how cute he looked before chuckling quietly. He steps over to where the other seemed to be hiding, not wanting to be seen. “Don’t worry about it, I’ve had to do this too many times for my younger sisters. Did whoever you’re getting this for write  note or something?”

Jackson couldn’t place the catalyst of his sudden nervousness, maybe it was because he was stuck in the aisle filled with a box of pads and tampons in his hands. At least someone was willing to help him, though he wanted to initially call his girlfriend but of course he lefts phone in the car. The sudden question causes his bottom lip to jut out, “No, I told her that I didn’t need to right it down. I said it was all up here.” He uses the edge of the box to gesture to his head.

Headcanons:

Jackson absolutely adores how clueless Ember gets when it comes to the cellular device he got her. 

He calls her every morning just to hear her voice.

He’s always sending her messages to see how her day is going, and he’d inform her of his. 

Facetime is still a little difficult for the couple, but Jackson finds it cute when Ember accidentally puts him on mute.

His thumb print his saved in her phone, and he keeps his unlocked since he had nothing to hide from her.

The apples of Jackson’s cheek’s darken as he stares at the two boxes in his hands. He was suppose to be spending this time with his precious goddess, but apparently her aunt flow came to town and she came with a vengeance. So their snuggle date was cut short, and he had volunteered to go out and get the essentials she needed since she was spending the night with him. 

Jackson was given a mental list and at first he thought he had it in the bag, ‘I don’t need a list, babe. It’s all up here.’ He instantly regrets ever saying that, because now he was in the middle of the feminine tissue isle looking like a lost pup.

‘Okay, did she say she wanted pads or tampons? Wait-What the fuck are wings??? How am I suppose to pick one of these out of a hundred? Back to task at hand, Jacky boy! Okay- pads or tam-”

Jackson’s eyes widen at the sudden statement, he flickers his gaze from the boxes toward the source before glancing down each end of the isle- ‘is he talking to me? Oh shit, he is- quick, say something before he gets suspicious’
