How long has it been since he left Pandora? Ten years? Maybe more. The former lead scientist of Hyperion left the company shortly before Handsome Jack’s downfall. He had a feeling it was coming when the CEO was loosing his marbles and killing his own people. Stein was mad but he wasn’t that crazy and he wanted to get as far away as he could from Jack and Hyperion. He found himself on a distant planet, somewhat civilized and somewhat wild with plenty of strange creatures to dissect and experiment on to his heart’s content.

Occasionally he came to town where the main space station was, buy supplies and sometimes offer his medical experience to make some money. That was when he spotted a familiar face among the new arrivals, one he never thought he would ever see again. The white haired male made a beeline to Tim, completely forgetting what he had come to town searching for.

It wasn’t every day Angel got news that genuinely alarmed her. Her network, though still in its early stages, had eyes and ears all over Pandora; whatever Angel didn’t discover on her own the others were able to keep her apprised of. And so it was that she got the call about Opportunity. The Hyperion city had been built up as a ghost town and had stayed relatively dormant, only housing the odd personnel member and their families, but it had effectively always been empty. Until now.

Faven wore to herself, never again was she going to let Nisha leave her in charge of Lynchwood. No way, no how. She already had to stop one fight, that ended in a mess of violence, she was not ready for another. 

It was only when someone actually speaking to her, instead of shouting some nonsense, that she finally looked up and snapped out of her thoughts. For a moment, she could of sworn it was Handsome Jack. So much for a quite afternoon.

But, the fact he hadn’t seemed to recognize her, clued her to the fact it could be one of the doubles Nisha would go on about liking to mess around with. Unless Jack was doing the whole ‘ha you don’t exist’ thing again. God, how she hoped this was some double.

  As always the quiet ghost of a girl was sat alone in her fortified chambers. She was looking at a screen in front of her. The video of an ocean somewhere far away. People were walking it’s coastlines, unaware of the girl longing to be there in person too. However he sad expressioned was quickly lifted at the sound of a familiar voice. Blinking she turned, her body jolting with a half second spark of hope that it was her dad here to set her free finally but she quickly diminished it, knowing she was just daydreaming again. Instead she saw his face but not his smile instead. And she knew right away who it was. 

“Tim…?” Angel murmured quietly before pushing herself up off the floor and walking over to the glass that seperated them. The girl smiled faintly, small and tired but a sinsere smile nonetheless. Timothy was one of the very few people who could make her smile these days.

What is their name?

“Timothy Lawrence.  Used to be Jack, but with the original dead, I doubt anyone’s gonna enforce that bit.”

Relationship with them?

“We’re comrades, he and I.  We been through too much together not to be.  We’ve fought and bled together, and combat forges a real close bond.  It’s just the two of us now, against the world out there, but we ain’t never gonna let eachother down.”

"I… I dunno.  Been two years since we last saw eachother.  I thought he was just a friend before… now… I mean, he’s so different from the kid I used to tease back on Helios.  I look at him now and I got these feelin’s inside of me.  I mean… I’m with him and I feel… fucking hell I dunno!”

Do you feel attracted to them in any way?

"You ‘n these fuckin’ questions!  I’m not… I… I DUNNO!  I mean, he tells me shit I ain’t never heard before, he’s straight up trying to be a hero, he’s brave, he’s strong, he has this fuckin’ amazing personality… and to top it off he’s fuckin’ hot as shit and he makes me blush and… and… GOD DAMN IT!  Why you gotta ask me this?!”

What’s one thing you’d like to do with them?

”…I wouldn’t mind playin’ Bunkers ‘n Badasses with him.  Just once!  Just once, to see if I liked it.  Don’t you tell no one I said that, by the way.”

Tell us one memory you have with them.

“The time I heard him cryin’ after… after Lilith and the rest fucked us over.  It was so heartbreaking, and I wanted to go in and check on him… but I didn’t know what to say, and I thought I’d just make shit worse, same as I always do.  So I passed him by.  …I wish I hadn’t, and I’m so glad he doesn’t hold it against me.  It just hurts to think of him like that.”
