Rose should have been surprised when she woke up next to Jack Harkness with a ring on her finger, but she really wasn’t. He always dragged her into the most interesting situations and this was just another one to add to the list. She almost wanted to laugh at the situation she awoke to find herself in, but she just let out an amused sigh and rolled over to wake up the sleeping captain.

"Jack." She said, her voice shaky. "We have to fix this. I…" She swallowed, ignoring how miserably dry her throat was. "I don’t think I can keep fightin’ it."

Jack’s voice caused Rose to stir, slowly pulling her out of her sleepy state. She opened her eyes, immediately regretting it when the light of the room caused her headache to hit full force. She felt like she had the hangover from hell. Exactly how much had she drank last night?
"What?" She asked Jack, her voice heavy, still trying to wake up. "Topped?" She rubbed her hands across her face, trying her best to get her brain functioning properly.
"You.. You're pregnant?!"
