Yeah so I woke up first thing earlier this morning to violence so I responded in kind

16th lineart for this year's @green-with-envy-phandom-event! 

Chronokinetic ghosts (and their motivations) are always a mystery. Only one thing is certain: they really love sunsets.

This is a collaboration: lines by @jackdaw-sprite, and color by Furiarossa (because this year the artist duo Furiarossa&Mimma is split in half! We'll be competing against each other, in two different teams... but still, all the stuff will be posted on the same Tumblr account, or Patreon, or wherever you follow us)

And here's a new feature! Since we're working on a card game, and we want to give all the other participants (and spectators of this event) a fun "demo", we've decided that each of the completed illustrations will be used to make a "Let's Play! Overlord" (more details in the future) card.

All the cards will then be collected at the end in a pdf file and will be freely available to everyone, becoming a print-to-play game that we hope will be fun, and that will include easter eggs and other little treats, but will also be perfectly playable within the main game. 

So here is the 16th card of this special promo set: Eternal Sunset.

(Of course, if the artist who created the lineart does not want their illustration to be included in the final pdf with the other printable and playable cards, just let us know and the card will not be included, obviously!)

This has reminded me that i write really long sentences for some reason

A high-pitched ringing fogged his mind, only seeming to worsen as he opened his eyes to his blurry surroundings.

Wherever he was, there wasn't much light, and even that flickered from somewhere behind him. He could just make out a nearby wall and something on the floor close to his face.

Pushing himself onto his elbows sent a wave of dizziness through him, but even as that and the ringing in his ears began to subside, the unsteady rocking did not. Aledar was forced to conclude, much to his displeasure, that he was still on a boat.

He sat and picked up the item before him, a small wooden sign with painted letters barely legible in the poor light.

‘Behind you, idiot.’

Someone broke into a laugh, like they had been holding it back with great effort, and the sound only brought back Aledar’s headache. He turned slowly, with a grimace he hoped came across more as annoyance than pain.

A little over a decade after the accident that stranded him in the spirit world, Danny finds himself confronted with the reality of the disconnect between the world he came from and the one he inhabits: even the few humans left who know him are drifting away. Desperate to retain some small scrap of his past, he's even willing to pause his endless guard over Amity Park to talk to Nocturne, if it gets him a chance at holding on. But Nocturne's price is no simple favor. Forced to stare his own wanderlust full in the face as he explores a new world, Danny struggles to complete the task before him when every hill and vale sings a siren song.

I love Invisobang as much this year as I did last year! It is such a great experience! Jack has written such an incredible and inspiring phic - the world they built and the language with which they built it is so unique, and so amazing! The language makes the world Danny lives in flow in a way ours does not, and it is so incredible to experience! I had so much fun reading the phic, and so much fun writing music for the phic! I hope I did it justice!
