Louis will be on Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders on September 30th at 6PM BST - 26.09
Joe’s gonna be on BBC radio 1 tonight from 6 o’clock 💙
I’m not surprised. Of course he’s on BBC radio, I swear they should just give him his own BBC radio show at this point the amount of times he’s on 😂😂

Joe setting the record straight. Confirming there is no 9th episode.
Opening Night BBC1 Interview
J: “Does there have to be a reason for Arctic Monkeys to get back in the studio and start writing music again?”
M: “No, I don't think so. I think when it comes to us making music and being in the studio together, it always... That's always our, like, happy place, I suppose, and where it feels natural. And it's like we'd... It felt like we'd never sort of stepped away from it. And obviously it's been a few years since we did make a record or, you know, make music in that way together. But yeah, it's like riding a bike for us, I think.”
J: “Has it lit the flame for any more in any way?”
M: “I don't know. I think time will tell on that one because I think we went into this knowing it was a one-off. But then having done it, we probably went away feeling, you know, like we just had a lot of fun making this record. So it's sort of like, there's no conversations about it, but it's definitely something we love to do and will always do, yeah.”

Matt Bellamy on Unravelling
BBC Radio 1 interview - 19 July 2025
I meant to do this months ago, but here's Matt's interview on BBC Radio 1 with Jack Saunders from when Unravelling was released.
It all started when Foo Fighters pulled out of some European music festivals last-minute this summer. Muse were meant to be having the year off after winding down the Will Of The People tour this year, but they were drafted in as replacement headliners at festivals like Hellfest in France. Hellfest is a metal festival, and so just as Muse did when they headlined Download in 2015, while Matt says "Muse of course, aren't a metal band", he felt the pressure to bring out their heaviest tunes to "earn" their place atop such a festival bill.
Unravelling's riff was the first thing Matt wrote on getting his new 8-string guitar, Matt's found it cool and wants to write more on it and says that it might influence the direction and sound of the next Muse album, although he still says Muse albums are quite sonically diverse, so it's not like we should expect a full album of metal riffs and nothing else.
Matt talks about bringing Dan Lancaster on as a producer on the album, saying he has more of an idea what the feeling is like in the crowd, as someone who tours with the band, compared to a studio producer that doesn't go on the road with Muse.
As for what's going on with Muse right now (and by "right now" I mean "earlier this summer" because I've had this clip since it aired on 19 June 2025 and not posted it...), Matt says they are "very creative" and "coming up with loads of new ideas and [have] lots of inspiration", so we should hopefully see the fruits of all that sometime soon, maybe even next year, if Matt's recent end-of-year thank-you video is anything to go by!
Jack Saunders, the host of the show on Radio 1 does a really sweet thing where he gets his listeners to send in their reactions and thoughts to the new tracks they play, because their 'hottest record' tracks are often exclusive first plays that air just a little before the songs are released to the wider world. So if you're interested, here are a few reactions from both Jack and Muse fans after the song was played. Music, as always, has been cut out to avoid the copyright issues that would otherwise not allow me to upload this interview.
