I honestly think they should’ve done more with Dania Ramirez’s Ella. Because this Cinderella was scarred for life, to the point where she honestly considered and was going to kill a man in revenge? And take another man’s heart? Then she managed to not do those things, turn her life around and have her own family and friends and not be consumed by guilt, angry and hatred?Â
This wasn’t a kind hearted, mild tempered, non-violent good person who was able to persevere against her family’s abuse. Ella Mills in the beginning was prone to violence, anger, resentment, cynicism (without "sassyness"), cunning, and was so broken and scared. And while seeing the original’s Disney version is not a bad thing, I always wanted a Cinderella that grittiness came from the fact that her family made her slave in her own house.Â
Of course, the show had her sword fight and join a resistance, but that’s OUAT; rebel soldier princesses are their thing.
Still, I would’ve liked more on her. Like, what could’ve happened when she awoken and realized that her step mom was dead, and her stepsisters were gone? What were the bumps and sweet moments in her and Henry’s relationship? What about her and Tiana? Did she help out rebuilding the kingdom? What other adventures did she have?Â

Oh no. He looks just like Henry too.Â
Adorable bartender Jacinda!Â
What!!! There is no way he is really Lucy’s dad.Â
Ok, back in Wonderland. Things are looking up.Â
Oh no, they are trapped together in a net. How terrible. Favorite scene since the season premiere.
Henry’s sword!!! Loving this sexual tension. Screw anyone who says they don’t have chemistry.Â
Jacinda is a realist. I like that about her and that it plays off of Henry’s constant optimism.Â
“Classic Kathryn Nolan situation.” Kathryn actually got the better end of the deal. She got to live happily ever after and wasn’t constantly fighting evil.Â

So, as far as I know, we don’t have a general consensus for Lucy’s mother aka Cinderella 2.0 aka Jacinda’s shipping moniker. I’ve seen “Glass” being used, but I’d like to propose...
HYACINTH
Why?
Jacinda is a variant of the name “Hyacinth.”
Also, I’m pretty sure the flowers in the background of the scene where she and Henry meet...
are hyacinths.
I’ve also decided my tag for her is going to be Jacinderella, but that’s just me, lol.
