I honestly think they shouldâve done more with Dania Ramirezâs Ella. Because this Cinderella was scarred for life, to the point where she honestly considered and was going to kill a man in revenge? And take another manâs heart? Then she managed to not do those things, turn her life around and have her own family and friends and not be consumed by guilt, angry and hatred?Â
This wasnât a kind hearted, mild tempered, non-violent good person who was able to persevere against her familyâs abuse. Ella Mills in the beginning was prone to violence, anger, resentment, cynicism (without "sassyness"), cunning, and was so broken and scared. And while seeing the originalâs Disney version is not a bad thing, I always wanted a Cinderella that grittiness came from the fact that her family made her slave in her own house.Â
Of course, the show had her sword fight and join a resistance, but thatâs OUAT; rebel soldier princesses are their thing.
Still, I wouldâve liked more on her. Like, what couldâve happened when she awoken and realized that her step mom was dead, and her stepsisters were gone? What were the bumps and sweet moments in her and Henryâs relationship? What about her and Tiana? Did she help out rebuilding the kingdom? What other adventures did she have?Â

Oh no. He looks just like Henry too.Â
Adorable bartender Jacinda!Â
What!!! There is no way he is really Lucyâs dad.Â
Ok, back in Wonderland. Things are looking up.Â
Oh no, they are trapped together in a net. How terrible. Favorite scene since the season premiere.
Henryâs sword!!! Loving this sexual tension. Screw anyone who says they donât have chemistry.Â
Jacinda is a realist. I like that about her and that it plays off of Henryâs constant optimism.Â
âClassic Kathryn Nolan situation.â Kathryn actually got the better end of the deal. She got to live happily ever after and wasnât constantly fighting evil.Â

So, as far as I know, we donât have a general consensus for Lucyâs mother aka Cinderella 2.0 aka Jacindaâs shipping moniker. Iâve seen âGlassâ being used, but Iâd like to propose...
HYACINTH
Why?
Jacinda is a variant of the name âHyacinth.â
Also, Iâm pretty sure the flowers in the background of the scene where she and Henry meet...
are hyacinths.
Iâve also decided my tag for her is going to be Jacinderella, but thatâs just me, lol.
