Tiermas. Abandoned village in Jacetania. I have visited this abandond village through the years. The vegetation is engulfing it into oblivion. Today I am taking some friends there for a photoshoot. Dome sadly collapsed sometime back. Wondering if bushes will allow way through. I have so many good memories with friends in Tiermas and Esco... It is so sad too the villages are eerily an echo from the past as the dam forced people to abandon them in the middle of XX century. Places are not haunted by ghosts but by desolation. Roman city ruins discovered in Artieda, Aragon
The ancient city, located in Forau de la Tuta, close to Artieda, was discovered last year, and the results were published in December of 2021. The ruins are believed to be of a different village compound than ancient Artieda, since it has impressive mosaics, canals for water evacuation, sidewalks, columns, and the entrance to the public baths. Researchers do not know the name of the city, since there are no known documents that mention it.
