Winning the Stanley Cup is supposed to feel good. He is supposed to feel proud of himself, for not only leading but being a part of a team that came together when it mattered most and winning the Cup for the first time in sixteen years. But Jamie doesn’t focus on that. He can’t.

In which Jamie and Tyler both get something in Vegas.

Jamie and Tyler had kind of always clicked, but when it came to making each other laugh they always knew how. When Jamie realized what he’d gotten himself into, he was in way too deep. And fuck, did it hit him like a ton of bricks.

Jason drapes his arm around Tyler’s shoulder. “You should make your move, Ty. You said that you were looking for a sign, right? Jamie threw a 99 mph fastball at a guy’s head for you. I’d say that speaks to how much he cares about you.”
