Sonic usually carries people in his arms (mainly Amy, from what I've seen), it happens a bunch of times, be it from rescuing them or having to get somewhere faster.

I've only seen Shadow (Sonic Prime and IDW), Vector (TMOSTH), and Tom (SCU) doing that. I can't remember if there were more lol.

Something something what if at the end of the movie the Wachowski family is playing baseball again and we see some kind of parallel of Shadow watching them like how Sonic did with the humans in the first movie.
But instead of staying in the shadows (hah) all alone, Sonic reaches out to him and asks if he wants to join.
