I feel like everyone needs a reminder that we do not have control over what the DOORS dev team does outside the game.
Yes, things are looking terrible right now and DOORS is technically only the game left with clean records. However, we can't expect them to not make mistakes, whether it's problematic or not.
And if something super bad really DOES happen, then there's nothing we can do about it.
I understand all of you are grieving from the current events, but pressuring them into being perfect saints is not going to help.
Saying things like "LSPLASH better not mess up" or anything similar is not going to help.
Yes, it would definitely hurt having DOORS get into some hot water, but in the end, the only thing we have control over is how we chose to react to the situation.
LSPLASH is a human. Redibles is a human. They can feel, just as we do.
Please PLEASE don't put them under stress by placing them on a such a high pedestal.
They're already working EXTREMELY hard on game development and they don't need these kinds of expectations placed on their shoulders.
I beg of you guys to please instead put this energy into supporting people who are physically and emotionally struggling due to these events.
