What made you want to study villager culture?
“It started at a young age for me. I was always fascinated by the way other creatures behaved, and wondered what caused the hostile mobs to be hostile. And aside from Zombies and Withers, none of the hostile mobs ever try to hurt villagers. That was what began to intrigue me. What was it about them that the Skeletons, Creepers and Spiders didn’t mind?”
“Then, the Witherstorm happened. My home was destroyed, and I was left wandering the world to try to stay alive, when I came across a village that had also been ravaged by the Witherstorm.”
“My first instinct was to ask if they were alright, if they needed help. Of course, I couldn’t understand their language yet, but we managed to find a way to communicate. I discovered that they had lost a few of their own to the storm, and desperately needed help rebuilding.”
“Over the next several months, I helped them gather resources and food, rebuilding their homes and farms. We grew to understand each other even more.”
“And so, once the rebuilding efforts were complete, I decided to remain with them and study their culture. We could truly learn a lot from them.”
