Woo yeah finished~ I started this book back in like May whoops but had to read several things between it. Anyway, out of the now four I've read so far, BP is probably my least favorite. It kinda dragged on and on, and so much time was spent with like, first domestic!Rose and then bloodwhore!Rose and I was like okay I get it she's complacent let's get back to normal Rose. I like Abe a lot though. I totally forgot about Rose not knowing who her dad was, otherwise I would've probably considered it; I just forgot it was even a factor. Dimitri's family was a little eh. Dimitri himself was also a little eh. Like, I guess I just think it's kinda cheap for him to be all special and kinda human when for three books previous it's been all horrible things about Strigoi. Which like I get the point, maybe they aren't all awful, except oh they are, so. Also yeah he's gunna be healed by spirit somehow I'm placing all my fake money on this. Idk 3/5 I'm hoping the last two are better.
