You definitely know my current answer to both of these questions, but I'm definitely more than happy to spread the word. To anyone that follows me, I HIGHLY recommend reading both of these books and would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

My favorite book over 500 pages would be These Burning Stars by Bethany Jacobs, which I cannot recommend enough. Messy women with religious trauma committing war crimes in space on a quest for revenge and uncovering a dark secret from a powerful family.

My favorite book under 300 pages would by A Magical Girl Retires by Park Seolyeon. This novella is a masterclass in portraying emotion that's perfect for any millennial who grew up watching magical girl shows like I did. It also provides an excellent commentary on modern issues, especially the problems women face today.

Hmm, the only possibly unpopular opinion regarding my blorbos is that I will, inevitably, end up headcanoning basically all of my blorbos as aspec. I see Weiss as demisexual aromantic, Saber as asexual demiromantic, Guda the same as Saber, and so on. Again, I don't have any problems with others having different sexuality hcs, but as someone who is aspec, seeing myself in them makes me happy.

My favorite scene is probably the entirety of the final battle, Ahiru is dancing with everything she has, trying to convey her feelings despite being just a duck again, Fakir writing the story of what is happening and crying, Rue is dancing in despair within the Raven's stomach, and Mytho is trying with everything he has to save her. It's just so incredibly well executed, all the threads of the rest of the story are coming together, and fate is being defied in the most beautiful way

Rue, my poor disaster daughter (who did absolutely nothing wrong ever)

Attraction level: ½/¾/5/6/7/8/9/10 (her design is absolutely incredible and she's beautiful. My ace self is a huge fan)

Love for the Character:½/¾/5/6/7/8/9/10 (definitely top 5, if not higher, of my favorite characters of all time)

How much the char has grown on me: ½/¾/5/6/7/8/9/10 (I instantly loved her, but she just kept getting better and better. By the end of the story, I, like Mytho "wanted to love Rue most of all")

Badassness level:½/¾/5/6/7/8/9/10 (raised by the embodiment of evil in the story and faithfully working for him until 3/4 of the way through the story has made her incredibly formidable. However, all she's ever wanted was love and her life of never having experienced it before had made her miserable. She's no one woman army, but her interior strength is admirable)
