My entry for the 2017 NPR Tiny Desk Contest is my suuuuuper #mantra for #2017 "I Will Bring Love" please enjoy! I wrote this lyric as a chant after my divorce last summer when I moved into my new place and out of my previous home. It was a scary and intense period of adjustment, but it helps to have something like a chant or a mantra to ground you. My new apartment was very foreign and frightening at first, but I knew I had to steel my resolve and turn the place into a home or I wouldn't survive. So I did.
