Ivymoon is one of Foxdust’s best friends and the Queenmother apprentice of Flowerclan (that being defending the queens and kits in the nursery as well as helping with birthing).
He grew up with a very controling mother who wanted him to become the best warrior in the clan, and being an only kit his mother always ‘trained’ him herself while he was still young. As Ivypaw, his other friends told the leader what happened because they saw his treatment first hand (Ivymoon’s mother threatened the other queens at the time of hurting their kits if they told the leader about her); the mother then ended up exiled because hurting kits is not ok bro.
As a result, Ivymoon is really protective of kittens and decided to become a Queenmother (or Queenfather in this case) to make sure not of them go thru the same stuff he did.
