My first good drawing in Ibis Paint X
Here's a mini comic with Ivan the Terrible 🌠
Ivan the Terrible in his prime wearing an opashen' ☀️ (if I'm not mistaken). Well, I believe this is an opashen' (kind of a summer coat).
I think we all need to take a moment to contemplate the fact that, depending on which accounts you credit, Ivan IV may have had as many as *six* bride-shows during his reign.
"Come on, fix my life"
(choose who you like best or take them all hehe)

The Capture of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible. By Grigory Ugryumov.
long live the Tsar.
"The ritual of the choice of the first Tsarina unfolded according to the ancient tradition, and was organized by Ivan's grandmother, Anna Glinski. More than five hundred candidates arrived from all regions of Russia. A new church was built. Not accommodating all this troop of young ladies, the terem was enlarged, and new bathrooms with large Venetian glass windows were provided. In the baths of the Kremlin, the candidates performed completely naked. Ivan enjoyed the spectacle next to his grandmother. Among the young beauties was Anastasia Romanova. (Michael, one of her relatives, would later found the Romanov dynasty). With large green eyes, slightly pulled, perfectly oval tanned face, a Diana body, Anastasia fascinated Ivan. The marriage was of an unprecedented luxury. [...] Ivan loved his wife ardently. The sweet and virtuous Anastasia made him more human, more comprehensive. He often found himself in his wife's chambers with father Sylvester, pope of the Kremlin Cathedral, who taught and told the gospel to the Tsarina. It did not take long for the sovereign to make him his close adviser. He also had as friend a Kremlin nobleman, Adachev. The two advisers chatted frequently with the young Tsar, inspiring in him measures of clemency and bold reforms. Then began the brightest period of Ivan IV's reign."
