Elida grins, before motioning for the Iudex to bend down, and once he does, she whispers a few words to him. "Ah. Alright, of course," he nods as he stands up, smiling. A few extra Mora from him, and an extra talisman for the Melusine, who grabs it eagerly and, after thanking Neuvillette and the merchant, runs off just as the familiar blend of black and yellow happens to appear nearby.
"Miss Navia! Miss Naviaaa!" Catching up to the young woman, Elida giggles as she presents the jade talisman to her. "Monsieur Neuvillette and I wanted to thank you - both for your kindness earlier, and also for everything you do for Fontaine. We weren't sure how... but maybe you'd accept this little Liyue gift from us?"
"For me?" Navia gasps. "My, what an honor!"
She bends to accept the little gift, admiring it thoroughly. Of course it's beautiful, but Navia handles it as though the most valuable item she owns. She smooths her thumb over every carved line, humming her admiration all the while.
Because to her it is priceless, no longer just a mere object but a memory. She could go her whole life without a dime for her work if it meant instead that she could capture every moment of joy like this. For her, that is what makes it all worthwhile.
"It's beautiful... Thank you, Elida."
