1,Foreword In order to satisfy global ITU-T member's demands for IPTV international standard, ITU-T determined to establish focus group IPTV (FG IPTV) in April of 2006 . The duty of FG IPTV is to coordinate and promote IPTV standardized activity of every International Organization for Standardization, forum, association and ITU-T relevant seminar in the world. FG IPTV will be to all ITU-T member states, little members (Sector Member) in the world And the association opens, individual and enterprise to any ITU-T member state are open, include various globalization, provincialism and country are organized. FG IPTV first chooses the work needing carrying on includes: Confirm the definition of IPTV; Define business scene of IPTV, actuator force and relation with other business and network; Confirm business demand and system framework for IPTV. Check existing IPTV standard and standard made, the links that the analytical standard is being lacked, define ITU-T working direction in IPTV canonicalization.
