Very fitting on this #speedytuesday for my new watch reveal. 10 years ago my grandmother passed away and I was very fortunate to receive some inheritance. I wanted to have a keepsake to cherish and decided to buy my first “nice”(whatever that means) watch. I had always loved the Speedmaster, but I had a list of things I wanted in a watch; automatic movement, sapphire crystal, date…did I REALLY want a Speedmaster then Haha? Well, I settled on a Speedmaster reduced since that checked all my boxes. After a few years and accumulating some more watches that filled all those requirements, I started to second guess my original purchase of the reduced and wished I had gone with the more traditional Speedy. Fast forward to today, and I couldn’t be happier with this watch and will cherish it forever.
