It was certainly one thing to find himself trying to track down someone who went off the radar for quite some time. It was another thing trying to get him to tag along with himself in order to hunt down someone that’s been giving people trouble right around the galaxy, to possibly even collect the bounty there was on his head.
Wash wasn’t interested in that, but maybe Locus was. He couldn’t be sure. All he needed was for someone he knew to watch his back from a good distance while he went ahead and tried to pursue the criminal.
Since North wasn’t around to be an option, his next option was Locus.
He doubted the other wanted to be a participant in the chase, but Wash didn’t know who else to go to (he couldn’t return to the Reds and Blues yet - he was certain that it wasn’t a good time for him to). He just hoped that it wasn’t going to resort to violence when he finally crossed paths with the other.
David had managed to track him down right into a rather small secluded area (it took him so long because someone happened to be brilliant at stealth), and now he was waiting in his armor, hoping that very soon he’d spot Locus.
He genuinely hoped that Locus was going to agree to this.
