I agree, I think a lot of it is people's passive aggressive way of being angry that Eric made a choice that proves who he holds in the highest regard (why was there any question, after this season especially?) and instead of being pissed at their precious Eric, or Sookie for getting them caught in the first place, they're going to put everything on Pam. Pam, who is in the position because she's trying to protect the man she loves.
They would have rather had Pam betray him, is what it boils down to. They'd rather have had Pam tell Mr. Gus exactly where he could find Eric, at Sookie's house, because instead of proving Pam's loyalty yet again they would be able to say look what she did! She doesn't love him enough either!

They're pissed that Eric made a choice and that choice wasn't Sookie's safety. They said all along that if the Sylvie flashback was foreshadowing, that Eric wouldn't make the same choice, which is SO fucked I can't even...she's his child. His companion. His lover and best friend for a century. Sookie is...nothing. A girl who loves someone else. Ugh! In what realm would it be okay, and would Eric be a guy you'd like, if he picked someone else over his progeny? Ugh again. Gross fandom is gross.
No, they wanted Pam to slip up so they can hold it against FOR YEARSÂ her like when she was fucked up in S4 and accidentally let it slip where Eric was hiding. Sorry, losers.
