Oh God... Is it a thing over here or I am just unlucky enough to be targeted? I've been messaged by different accounts, usually artists, who follow the same pattern of behaviour and it's kinda disturbing. It goes like this:
— Hey
— How are you?
— Have you watched Hazbin or Helluva Boss?
— Who is your favourite character?
— Do you have any ocs?
— Show them and I'll show you my commissions.
And then they say they want to draw something special for me, but it's not out of the goodness of their hearts, oh no, they want to somehow force me to commission them and once I refuse, they get pissy, asking why, saying it's their job and all. So far, it's been around 6 accounts who did this.
Guys, this isn't the way, that's just not nice, you know? If someone wants your art, they'll commission you, that's how it works! If they appreciate your work and like you as an artist, they will do that! No need to go pushing it down someone's throat for hell's sake. Even more if it's someone who's not even following you or knows you! Good Jesus.
So, if it's this kind of message that you'll be sending me, I won't answer anymore and if you insist, I'll block you. Because seriously, this is not the kind of person I want to chat or be friends with
