Out in the shadows of the forest, a young teen steps out into the wilderness.  Just outside of Haven’s gates, the girl began to wonder forward. She wasn’t used to this stillness, at least, not here. A month ago, every hour of the night would be filled with chattering students enjoying their evenings outside of the class room. But ever since Beacon fell, silence.
A soft sigh passed through her lips. Well, it was no excuse to lighten up on training. Regardless of the absense of other hunters. Hell. Perhaps their absence were a que to train harder.
A storm was coming, she coud tell it by the shift in the winds.
The familliar roars of Beowolf’s rang in her ears. Fingertips outstrethed as a pair of decorated daggers were pulled from their resting places on her back. The roars were getting closer, and closer with each passing seconds. Shoulders relax, her breathing evened out.
Bushes rustle until suddenly, five beowolves sprang out from the bush. Their claws open, ready to tear into her tender flesh with fangs barred in a thirst for blood. The youths eyes shot open, her blade delved into the nearst beowolf’s agap jaw, cutting clean through the top of its head. Another one pounced over its fallen bretherens corpse. It’s aim to cut her down.
Her wieght throws her body forward, dodging and roling out of the claws range. From the other hand, her dagger goes flying into the side of the beowolf’s body, causing it to howl from the sudden burst of pain. In a flash, the dagger’s blade is pushed across the grimm’s torso, cutting it in half. Two down, three to go.
Slyph sprung to her feet, twisting and turning between the three remaining grimm’s claws. A flick of her wrists, both dagger blades get thrust back, embedding themselves into the third, now fallen, beowolf.
Three down, two remain.
