Telltale’s season 2 of The Walking Dead is kinda weird
Like most adults seem to treat Clementine as a small adult. Which is great for the player, because having them all treat Clementine how they treat Sarah in that exact same season would get old fast with her as the player character.
But it’s still really weird because the game also sometimes let’s you play on the fact that Clementine is a child, and therefore more likely to be underestimated and coddled by other people. Like when you first meet the cabin group you have the option to try and use Clementine’s cuteness to appeal to the group and not lock her in the shed.
But also they sometimes treat her like she’s a little bit in charge. Like Jane and Kenny especially so. Jane will often follow Clementine’s lead in Season 2, while Kenny rapidly falls into the habit of treating Clementine as Lee but smaller (even if Duck is what he accidentally calls her during the awkward dinner scene).
Kenny also blames Clementine for Sarita’s death, no matter what you do. Even though it was Sarah’s screaming that got her attacked and bitten in the first place. He more or less treats her as a stand in for either Lee or Duck depending on the mood he’s in.
Arvo also very specifically has it out for Clementine, even over Jane. Even in the story lines where you let him take the medicine, and you have nothing personal to do with the death of his sister. Even though Jane was the one to hold him at gun point, and be the one to take the drugs from him in the first place, it’s still Clementine who he shoots when he tries to leave/rob the group with Bonnie and Mike.
Carver, the first big antagonist of the season, sees her as his goddamn equal. Which is completely wild when you consider the fact that this is an 11 year old child, who maybe weighs 100 lbs, and probably isn’t taller than like 4′10″. And she’s also the only character in the whole season he actually seems to respect to some degree.
I know it’s like this because she’s the protagonist, and being treated like a kid would get old fast, but it’s still really weird when you take their behavior out of that context. This girl is a grade schooler and these grown adults are out here acting like she’s either their equal or their superior, and it’s wild.
My sister: It's so boring. So sooooo boring
My mother: What's boring?
My sister: The world outside. It's so boring
My sister is two and loves the outside.
I have gotten mad at people for not replying to my un-sent messages.
Team is a go

My hair didn't turn out how I wanted it... oh well
infatuated with the femme fatale
My emotions/moods have been on the fritz lately ._.
This rarely happens to me, if at all, and it's like from content, to happy, to anxious then to content and so forth ._.
Either that, or I've become more observant of my own emotions from a third party point of view (Thank you adolescent development ><)
