Okay I’m re uploading this cause i fkin tagged the last one wrong, this is my entry for @piligy‘s contest for her Eerie comic! This is Jamie Coleson, she’s 25 years old. 

Her father left before she was born, and after an abusive relationship with her drug addicted mother, she was handed over to her grandparents, whom she considered to be her own parents. She loved her grandparents more than anything, and was willing to do anything as long as it made them happy, she got good grades in school, she behaved well even when the other students were rude and teased her, she even attended the college they picked out for her. For her, life couldn’t be more perfect when they were there to support her.

Her happiness ended on September 27th 2013. Someone had broken into her grandparents house and they were brutally beaten to death, they didn’t stand a chance. When she heard the news, she locked herself in her room for months and refused to leave. She was numb, she felt nothing, yet everything at the same time. She couldn’t feel, yet it hurt.

On the 15th of July 2014 was when she felt something again. She was walking in the local park when she met a girl. Everything felt so much better when their eyes met. She was so distracted that she tripped on a tree root and fell flat on her face. The girl laughed and helped her up. She felt nothing like what she felt when their hands touched for the first time. The girl introduced herself as Melissa.

Yet again, she had her happiness ripped from her. Melissa was forced to move away by her father, who was scared to have a gay daughter. He had yelled profanities at her and threatened to stab her if she ever came near his daughter again. She was heartbroken. But she realized then that there was some good in the world, and she picked herself up and tried to face the world with a smile.
