i narrowly escaped another eviction,

made multiple new friends,

met a [tumblr] mutual (and friend!) in person for the first time,

visited a city i'd never set foot in before (chicago, IL, USA is awesome! everyone should go visit!! everyone! even if just to fly over lake michigan. my gods, the architecture!),

saw kenshi yonezu and ado and autechre (an experimental electronic music duo i've loved for over half my life) in concert for the first time,

finally got approved through my therapist for in-home help with daily living stuff,

took a 46-hr train trip without compression stockings (negative eleventy million/10. do not fucking recommend, especially if you have existing circulation issues. the trip itself, though, across america's heartland? glorious. i maintain that trains are the classiest way to travel by land),

started to take singing seriously again for the first time since my university days,

got a CT scan to investigate possible cancer,

and am now rounding up shit to sell to make rent and pay bills.
