is it just me, am i just being delusional or is there a similarity between the rugby scene in ep4 4/4 and what's playing on pran's tv in ep 12 1/4?

i don’t think you’re being delusional! i think it’s actually a very clear reference to their rugby days because

1. the players are wearing the same colors are pat and pran. the only difference is that pran’s shirt has black and white stripes too while the one on pran’s tv is all green

and 2. the green player is performing the Exact same movement that pran did. it’s most likely a common move? i know nothing about rugby lmao but still, it’s green player doing and red player being left behind. just like patpran

@isvisomewhere I know!! I was a bit unsure about them from the pics before the ep and in this early scene...but I think the top lighting washes out the blue because LOOK...they're definitely a rich dark blue! 👩🏽‍🍳💋

but what about inkpa? what are their colors? do you have any theories, cause I'm really interested if you noticed a pattern or something.

there's a lot of greens, browns and oranges but you're wayy better at costume theory so haha

@isvisomewhere! Thank you so much for your message and sorry it took a while to reply. I wanted to give it the attention it deserved.

So, I've written several times about Ink and Pa's clothes and colours (links below) but I'll try to summarise my thoughts here.

You asked, "what about inkpa? what are their colors? do you have any theories?" Well. Yes, obviously 😂 So, my guess is that the colours that are exclusively theirs (as in they're not wearing something which is 'supporting' another character or plotline) are Burnt/Pumpkin Orange for Ink and Lime Green for Pa...with the added shared colour of Purple which I'd like to say is like the Mint Green for Pat and Pran (sort of symbolises their coupledom).

Referring to the gifs you included (and don't apologise for spamming - who doesn't want to see Ink and Pa on their dash?), numbers 4 and 8 show their colours best - the hotpot 'date' and the short clip in the montage at the end of ep 10 when they've become girlfriends. In the other scenes, I would say the colours they're wearing have different underlying reasons, all of which I have covered in one of my many costume posts. Some are for others (i.e. pic 9 - which they're wearing Pat and Pran's blue and red), some are for a combination of themselves and others (i.e. pic 2 - where they both have burnt orange and blue in their tops, the former for Ink but the latter representing Pat because at this point it was still ambiguous who was being set up for whom [sort of]), and some have only one of their colours plus something else meaningful (i.e. pic 5 - where Ink is in Pa's lime green and Pa is in yellow signifying love and happiness).

I won't go into everything here because it will get even longer but I hope these ramblings make sense!

Thank you for your well-wishes 💙🌹 Yes, I'm in the process of making a full/permanent move from Sweden to the UK...as in, I've come with a couple of suitcases for now but will sell up my apartment and move all my belongings later in the year (alongside buying a house to put it all in!).

And yes, it is a bit scary but also exciting. I've started a new job but it's one that I did for 10 months or so a few years ago as a maternity cover, so I'm at least familiar with the job, the workplace, and the city. Plus, I'm originally British, so it's a bit like coming home - although there's a lot I'm going to miss about Sweden.
