definition from here - needed this for a request! i may be wrong, but based on the wording of the post, it seems that the prefix ‘istos-’ can be added to any attraction that specific user feels fits their experience best - for example, istosplatonic. the yellow and gold stripes represent platonic attraction, with the gold also representing neurodivergence (it’s inspired by my neurodivergent flag), the dark grey stripe represent confusion, the light pink stripe represents romantic attraction when alone and queerplatonic attraction when combined with a yellow stripe, and the light blue stripe represents alterous attraction! i decided to make the outer two stripes smaller, as this identity doesn’t inherently mean one feels those types of attraction, just that they may confuse their platonic feelings for one of them or feel that their attraction combines platonic with other attractions.
