 After the small incident that happened during dinner, the twins stayed more calm in their parents’ arms and the night was more quiet. Rick and Caroline were still unsure of what could have caused their behavior to change, they could have guessed if the two young girls started talking about who they met three days ago.

 On the next day, Josie and Lizzie were left with their new nanny while Caroline and Rick were still trying to figure out how to kill the devil. They didn’t want to spend the whole day inside the house so Josie asked if they could go to the park play — the nanny agreed that some fresh air would be good for the kids. Already in the park, the twins were playing hide and seek and when Lizzie’s turn to hide came, she hid herself behind a tree only to find a man looking at her, the same man she had seen a few days ago.

As the blonde reached the apartment building, she searched for the name she'd grown to know over the past couple of weeks. Her slim finger pressed the elevator button as her other hands held onto the books that Henrik had brought her as well as her grandmother's grimoire. She knew she should've stuck to Kol as far as Expression magic went, but she also knew that he cared enough that he would stop her if she was getting too far out of hand, Kai wouldn't. He cared, but not that much. 

As the elevator rung, alerting her she was at the right floor, she went through the doors, walking down the hallway until she recognized the number, her hand coming up to rap on the door three times. If you wanted to do something whole-heartidly, she'd learned from her fathers, sometimes it was necessary to break some of the rules. Sometimes it was necessary to do things that weren't good for you in order to have a chance to be successful in the long run and that's what she wanted. Success. Because she had a plan, if it worked, it worked, if it didn't well then -- At least they can put 'She tried' on her tombstone, she thought as she waited at the door.
