This week at my internship I got to work on the Issues and Programs for the first quarter of 2019. Each station gave me their list of individuals or organizations that came to talk to them from January till the end of March and I filled in the template that states the day the interview aired as well as what they came to talk about. Issues and Programs are important because it informs the community of fundraising and volunteering opportunities as well as showcasing nonprofit organizations that need to be highlighted in the community. I really enjoyed putting these together and seeing how much our stations help the community.
