There were both advantages and disadvantages of being an isopod. You were a decomposer. You could thrive on practically any diet. It, in theory, didn't matter what you ate.
But then there were the downsides.
You, whenever scared, dropped everything to curl into a ball. For example:
You were walking down the hall, quietly minding your business and sipping at your bland coffee when Kyle jumped out at you. Instinctively, you dropped your coffee, and fell to the floor curled up in a ball. He proceeded to laugh his ass off while you glared at him and demanded another coffee.
Simon always had that thing where he just randomly appears behind you. That being said, you were talking with your fellow sergeants when a large hand fell on your shoulder. You, as usual when you get scared, tuck in and curl. You land at Simon's feet, and he just looks down at you like he didn't embarrass you infront of other sergeants.
Price was different. He would give you the look. The look that parents give their kid when they fucked up. When you were called to his office, you practically curled into a ball under the glare he gave you.
And then there's Johnny.
Johnny would scare you every chance he gets. It pisses you off, especially because you can't help when your natural instinct is to curl. One time, though, when you stayed curled for a while, he decorated your curled form with stickers he got from who knows where.
