A number of reasons! Isla, when faced with a kind/generous/etc. mc there’s a couple of things going on.

1. mc being kind really nails home the fact that they’re an ass to the mc and it makes them uncomfortable when you don’t respond in kind bc, shocker, they feel bad (look at emotional scenes in front of the train station when the mc cries--Isla feels shitty for pushing the mc to that point)

2. Kind people make them suspicious/anxious for backstory reasons

3. Kind people don’t usually vibe with their sense of humor or morality.

4. They’re just plain uncomfortable when shown kindness, it makes them feel like they’re under a microscope (past trauma??? Noooo never heard of her) and has a lot of conflicting feelings about that personality type.

✨ a slut for going out with complete strangers in season two, but refusing to go out with stiles (isla/stiles shippers would be... weird man)

✨ her and scott aren’t a good match and a lot of people attack their relationship

✨ her and stiles probably would’ve ended up together in season 6 bc bullshit fanservice

quinn is definitely the one who is always on top with trends since its like her “duty” to know what is in and out of style. i feel like ryder and drew would know a bit as well but not as much as quinn. and one who couldn’t care less would be either isla or alex because they got way better things to do than to worry about “irrelevant” things.

Oof, awkward to start with. Isla and emotions don’t mix well, we can see well enough in-game. As the relationship develops, whether that's friendship or romance, they’d still feel a bit off-beat but also more sympathetic and worried over the mc in question.

Hmmm I think anyone who has been in proximity to hellhounds/other animal-headed species at any point in their life can kind of gather the general gist?

They like romance novels! i mean they like any book but romances are just their go to feel good kind of books.

They’re actually a really tender and caring person but a lot of their circumstances in life molded them to what we see now. As they learn how to care for people again and allow themself to be cared for... we might see more of that old Isla again.

They have a collection of ribbons they use for their hair and tail, always coordinates, and would be willing to share with friends :p That’s not exactly a fluffy fact but it is sweet.

And as I’m sure everyone’s noticed, they act the grump when receiving affection but they not so secretly absolutely love being on the receiving end of that affection. They worry sometimes that their bristliness will ward off someone trying to give them love but Fatima’s helped a lot with their self-esteem in that regard.
