En gives off a slight sugar daddy vibe, i said what i said. although he’s quite collected and serious most of the time and may come off as intimidating sometimes, he never lets you feel lonely or scared in his presence. after all, you’re his loved one and not some second-rate helper, and you deserve to be treated appropriately, so he never forgets to greet you properly or mention how nice you look in whatever it is you’re wearing, even if it’s a bathrobe. moreover if it’s a bathrobe, hehe.

no matter if you’re out somewhere or at home, he likes having you sited in his lap or simply as close to him as possible, not only for others to remember who you belong to (and vice versa, of course), but to make sure you’re doing alright and remember that he is always by your side. En’s not always vocal about his feelings, so small gestures such as kissing the back of your hand or gliding his fingers across any open bit of skin of yours is an easier way for him to remind you about them.

En is one extremely busy magician who doesn’t like being distracted, but if you need his help or simply miss him? mark my words, he will be with you in no time, leaving the job to his most capable apprentices. he will probably puff as if irritated after you’re done with whatever you needed him for, lightly scolding you for taking away his work time, but deep down he loves both the fact that you need him and your lack of fear of calling him even though he’s busy. after all, he respects brave people who know what they want.

his softer side is not easily revealed, so if you managed to cut your way into his heart he will shower you in pure, own kind of affection. En is no stranger to bedtime talks with cuddling and slow, love-filled mornings, as well as elegant dinners and taking pleasure in simple comfortable silence. he can be truly soft, however this softness is only reserved for someone whose love he is sure of - in this case, it’s you.

「 En x sorcerer reader headcanons 」

given En’s might and connections it’s pretty natural that there aren’t any magic users around who could even be compared to him, let alone compete or overthrow.

however, as soon as the news of you having been spotted in the Hole started spreading, En sat up and took notice - it’s not everyday that someone as wealthy and strong as you shows up on what is rightfully considered his territory.

the more his cleaners and minions see you roaming around the streets of the town, the more the wizard gets uneasy, well aware of what you’re capable of. they don’t call you one of the mightiest wizards for nothing, after all.

after yet another time Shin and Noi have mentioned the sight of you and your assistants discussing the possible purchase of that one very expensive piece of weaponry not even the richer magicians could afford, En finally decided it was enough. he wouldn’t- no, he couldn’t let you take his place this easily, even if you weren’t where to fight him in the first place, he knew about your abilities.

instead of confronting you about it, En chose to think things through and came to a conclusion that pairing with you would not only secure his current position, but would as well improve his image.

after weeks of running figurative circles around you in attempts to catch your attention by “accidentally” running into you in a narrow street, equally accidentally showing off his magic and making casual small talk you finally started seeing what he was up to, and you weren’t sure if you liked it or not.

being one of the wealthiest sorcerers in the realm had its undeniable perks, such as being able to afford whatever you wanted. for En though, it was one of the things that made it harder than anything to get you to accept his offer. rare jewelry pieces, devil made masks for your people, all sorts of magic attire seemed to do little for his initially low-cost plan.

what it did was something he never expected and got confused by - it made him catch feelings for you, someone he was going to use to his own advantage but ended up genuinely liking. En slowly but surely got charmed by your stoic personality, your stone cold approach to any inconveniences, the effort you put into everything you did.

you, on the other side, were hesitant about this new trait of your admirer. how could you know if he wasn’t playing some secret card just to capture you? his courting was on a really high level, unlike of those who tried to steal your heart before him, but from your own experience you knew what lengths people could go on to get what they want.

your walls have been crumbling at a painfully slow pace, until one day Kikurage decided to pay you a visit and sit in your lap. En followed shortly in search of her, and as soon your gazes met, you realized one important thing: she wouldn’t have got so close to you unless she knew that her master trusted you, and that meant he might’ve been more honest than you used to think.
