Fahrenheit 451 - Whatâs your favorite book? (For Ishi)
My favorite? Well, Iâve read my share of novels in my lifetime, but they were usually for related assignments in my classes! No less, I remember each as clear as day!
If I were to pick a favorite, however, âThe Scarlet Letterâ would certainly be a great choice! Pardoning the whole adultery mess, I found it rather empowering for Miss Prynne to have made more or less of a meaningful life for herself through hard work alone, and regaining the respect of the community that once shunned her!
...Seems it would be nice to earn respect back from everyone even with a big black stain on your familyâs tarnished reputation, wouldnât it? Iâve still got quite a ways to go in that department.
