Isern is an assassin for hire, technically employed by the IPC as an average officeworker.

Much of her story is interwoven with [Praxia].

Isern is between assignments within the IPC at the moment and uses her time off to “monitor” the drone battle, using both sides as target practice until Praxia escapes Daedalus.

Mark [Preservation]:

Singular resident of a completely dead world that the IPC wants to acquire for resources. No matter what she is offered she refuses to release custody of the planet. She promises to shoot every IPC ship out of the sky before she allows them to possess it, and as a pathstrider of the Preservation, she can back up her decision. IPC inevitably sends Isern to deal with it, though she appears without weapons for reasons unknown. When Isern returns, it is unclear if she managed to kill the unknown emanator or strike a deal. The planet is now empty.
