1. What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work? (In other words, what do you think is the best introduction to your fics?)
Either An Ideal World or Regretting. Probably An Ideal World because it's a stand-alone, but they both have an overall tone that I think is quite characteristic of my work.
3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?
Yearning. I love a story with a ton of yearning, and it works so well for New Mutants characters, which is most of what I write. (As a personal aside, I wrote a bunch at the start of last year and then just stopped, because I created from yearning and suddenly that wasn't something I felt in the same way cos I got into a relationship. Still in that, but realised I missed writing and am working on not needing my work to be somewhat reflective of my current emotional state.)
Also, while I'm not a fan of soulmate AUs, I love writing about the soulmate dynamics of DaniRahne and Katyana, so explorations of those are quite characteristic of my work.
23. What's a trope, AU, or concept you've never written, but would like to?
Okay so I started thinking through common tropes to try to cone up with an answer and came up with a Daniyana (no one is surprised) fake dating fic immediately. So uh that lol.
I'd also desperately love to write a historical AU but haven't been able to put together what that would look like. Would likely be Tudor, as one of the periods I know the most about and would enjoy writing in, but ultimately needs to be a period that suits the pairing and story first and foremost.
