no, I’m not okay. I’m not okay because people leave. I’m not okay because we live in a world full of war and opression. I’m not okay because feminism is still not okay. I’m not okay because I have to spend money I don’t have, in order to get an education noone will even akcnowledge. I’m not okay because people are dying. I’m not okay because people are starving. I’m not okay because I’m sitting on my computer while people are starving and dying. I’m not okay because society says I’m not good enough. I’m not okay because tv shows are, most of the time, the only glimpse of reality I have. I’m not okay because people get sick. I’m not okay because the government let’s sick people die. I’m not okay because this world is ruled by money, and the ones who deserve it and need it the most, don’t have it. I’m not okay because I’m gonna have to leave my country in order to have a shot at having a future (working on something I don’t even know if I love). I’m not okay because the elderly are left to die alone. I’m not okay because we are destroying this earth. I’m not okay because, even when I am okay, I realize someone else out there is not. I’m not okay because you blame teenagers for today’s society, but the ones who want to fight and take a stand are diminished by others. I’m not okay because women can’t walk a street at night, alone, feeling safe. I’m not okay because “gay” is still used as an insult, to this day. I’m not okay because there are billions of unoccupied houses, and yet, millions of people homeless. I’m not okay because people die overseas, trying to escape war. I’m not okay because of a lot of shit, but if I were to speak would you even hear? You asked if I was okay and when I said no, you did not care at all. So, from now on, remember why I am always okay - for it is better to pretend than showing why I am not okay, at all.
