IS-0, my robot OC!
She used to be my voidsona, but I fell out of voidpunk. I don't think it's my style anymore, and I feel like there's some problems with the movement anyway.
But I kept the OC, because I still think her design slaps. I thought up a new, simple lore for her.
She was created in a lab, and is 75% machine. The rest is bionic organic parts. She can't take her helmet off, but if you look closely, you may see a face behind the glass.
Artificial beings like her are all assigned a job upon creation, which they must perform, and if they do, they get to live their lives as normal civilians, without interference. Deviating from that results in them losing a place in society, being looked down on, for being a waste of the resources funneled into their creation.
IS-0 has a friendly personality, and is always eager to contribute, though she resents the fact she has no choice but to work on what she was assigned to upon activation: Engineering.
She doesn't mind her job, it's the lack of choice she hates. So she draws and writes in her spare time, publishing comics and stories and earning extra money that way, as a kind of rebellion. That way, she feels like she has a job she actually chose to do.
