When visiting the World of the Living, Kensei explained that Momo could not very well run around calling him Captain without people thinking she was strange or bringing unnecessary attention to herself.  So, on the very next trip she followed his instruction.  

First, she called him Muguruma-san…to which he frowned and said it made him sound like an old man.  Then, she called him Kensei-san…and it too was met with a frown and a sigh. 

 As a joke, she asked him (grinning widely):

“What the heck should I call you then?  Kensei-ji?”

He stopped and stood still, staring at her.  Unblinking.  It made her think that maybe he did not find humor in it, that she had stepped out of line.  Moments later, he smiled (as much as he did), a fist presented for her to bump to seal the deal.  

“Yeah.  Call me that.”
