What I love: games that deliver precisely this feeling.
It was lowkey surreal and inspiring to see Dark and Darker release through torrent links directly from the devs since Steam took it off the store. Even more surreal to know that guys I’ve known my whole life barely knew how to torrent and I had to baby them through it.
The whole fiasco was over a DMCA takedown sent by a $20 billion corporation regarding an indie developer. This is the future.

Even with all the legal and technical issues, this playtest of Dark and Darker was still leagues ahead of other PvPvE titles. Really can’t wait for the full game/early access.
