It’s great to be back home in Nashville TN. My 2.5 month road trip has finally came to an end. It was an experience of a lifetime and one I’ll never forget! The last chapter of my journey across the country was spent at Lake Dardanelle in Russellville Arkansas. The Hobie BOS Series was in town and a group of friends and I rented a house for the week. Prefishing went well and after the first day of competition I was leading the tournament by just a half inch. Unfortunately the area I was fishing was pretty small and ultimately the area got too much pressure and I ran out of fish. I still ended up with a solid 4th place finish and some much needed points for the “Angler of the Year” race. There’s only one Hobie tournament left, Coosa River on October 3rd & 4th, then the championship at Fort Loudon Lake in November. I really want to thank AJ and the rest of the Hobie staff for putting on such well run tournaments. They’ve got it down like a well oiled machine. I’d also like to thank my sponsors #irodfishing and #dakotalithium for all of their support, they are both a big part in making this all possible for me.
