hoenn was ok. it was good. i liked hoenn but ure giving it so much credit. johto was good and hgss was a really good remake so i understand that being high on ur list. kalos is great so far and hopefully the remakes add more depth to the legendaries but other than that: amazing region. ya. kanto was so eh for me . :L LG was my third pkmn game i played and idk it was so standard. unova and sinnoh were both outstanding like..... unova was SO fleshed out and the overworld was just fun to explore and it introduced a lot of cool pokemon both for the competitive community but also for casual players. sinnoh was just way too good i mean sinnoh has the best legendaries and the best "sequel" pkmn platinum hit all the right tones of eerie for me like omg the distortion world was so good i mean WHO remembers that event arceus & that cutscene that happens when he "gives birth" to a new palkia/dialga/giratina i mean cmon

about the slur usage. i don't know how far i am able to respectably relate this to the n-word as a white trans girl, but i would never want anyone to use a transmisogynist slur they can't reclaim, no matter who they are or aren't around. it's unacceptable under all circumstances.
that’s the same with me as a white queer non-binary person like I’m okay with fellow queer people calling me queer but as soon as a straight person even uses the word queer (whether it’s directed at me or not) I get sick to my stomach and I feel afraid.
so I mean. our experiences with slurs are different than black peoples’ experiences with the n slur but slurs typically get a universal reaction out of the people they oppress.
