I know people like to write stories without aftercare because it's "too soft" and the characters aren't together. BUT think about this: there is aftercare, and then they act as if nothing had happened, but one of them is thinking about that post-sex moment when they were there lying together. Isn't that even more deliciously dramatic? It was just really basic aftercare but oh it would have been so nice to keep holding each other for just a little while longer.
