Mercury was so close to getting his first kiss when-

Iris: "Hey, I saw you talking to Wyatt..."

Iris: "Did he say anything about me?" Mercury: "Jeez, you two are ridiculous." Iris: "So did he?" Mercury: "Listen, Iris, you gotta go and get your man yourself, ok? I am busy here!"

Lola: "I knew this would happen. I knew she wouldn't listen. This is because you encouraged her!" Basil: "I swear, I had no idea she would actually drive it-" Lola: "Because you are naive, Basil! Get that car over to your cousin right now."

Iris's parents didn't waste a second. When Iris came back from school that day, the driveway was empty.

After she had dropped Wyatt off, there was already someone waiting for her in the driveway.

Iris: "Shit."

Lola: "Iris Francesca Wrench, you better tell me you did not hijack the car without a driver's license and were out with a boy all night!" Iris: "Technically, I didn't hijack it because it's mine-" Lola: "Don't get smart with me now. You are grounded, indefinitely. And this car is going back to Dante." Unaware of his father's struggles, Mercury is back at the teen hangout and met his flirt from last time again.
