That seems like a real possibility to me too. Carlos loves Iris but just as a friend, while Iris’ feelings may be more complicated, and obviously her relationship with Carlos has changed and she hasn’t had the same closeness with him, so she may be jealous or feel left out because TK and other people are getting Carlos’ attention and Iris misses her best friend basically. I am interested to see the Carlos/Iris dynamic

I hate when friends interrogate significant others hahaha it’s like chillll. But I do think it will be good for Iris and TK to get to know each other. Though, I’m not so sure that it will go the way I want it to! I’m being pretty laidback about this because I don’t want to be upset, but still... choices are definitely being made on this show (but when aren’t choices being made slfdskl... I’d rather them be made with Carlos screen time than Owen screen time lol)

Yeah, it kind of seemed like there would be some tension there for some reason??? but like what’s not to like about TK...he’s not perfect but he’s definitely likeable and a people person! But there are a lot of feelings going into this... like Iris has a lot going on and letting go of marriage to Carlos could be hard even if it’s what has to happen. They need to get on it fast. It’s hard to believe that a divorce could happen in 8 weeks.

Carlos and Michelle seem very close so I’m wondering how they got to know each other. I think the proximity of  their lines of work probably helped bring them together. I’m the process, they probably bonded over crazy calls and the stress of their jobs. They likely were friends before Iris went missing, but idk how far back. I think Michelle was a little resentful of Iris back then so she might have kept her away from Carlos a bit so Carlos and Iris weren’t real close but knew each other. Regardless, some backstory for all of them would be great.

For sure! Both the misogyny and ablism would be soooo easy to fall into with this plot, and I'm trying not to judge before I see, but using Iris as an obstacle in two people's love story just screams bad move. But there are ways it could be okay, and she might be a concerned friend who wants to get to know TK and doesn't want to stand between them. Although, I will say what we know so far does lean towards Iris being a problem in the wedding coming to be. But we shall see, and no matter what happens, I'm not going to hate on Iris because I totally agree on not treating the woman terribly (unless she's actually a bad woman, lol, which Iris is not) because that does not sit right with me.

[Link] Yeah, I think that does reflect on why it hasn’t been dealt with properly. It still feels weird to me the way they brought it in. Like even just Carlos mentioning that he’s had a girlfriend in the past when he was figuring out his identity would have planted the seeds. But sometimes you just have to throw a plot in and roll with it I guess.

I always forget how inappropriate Michelle was being... like yeah, she suspected Dustin, but also she was harassing him for being a murderer when he did not, in fact, murder Iris...I get why Michelle was upset and acting out, but it also wasn't healthy or productive!
